Enoch Kelly Haney
Seminole, Oklahoma
Enoch Kelly Haney has served
the State of Oklahoma in a variety of capacities for many
years. He has served in the Oklahoma National Guard. He
was producer and host of a weekly television program, and
more recently he worked as a consultant and narrator for
the Seminole series, "How the West was Lost," which
aired on the Discovery Channel. He was employed on the
Adjunct Faculty at Oklahoma City University. He served
three terms as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives.
Haney owned and operated Haney, Inc., which is an art gallery
and mail order business. He is a professional artist who
has earned the title of Master Artist of the Five Civilized
Tribes. Enoch Kelly Haney has also served as a Senator
in the Oklahoma State Senate.
A member of the Seminole Nation
of Oklahoma, Enoch Kelly Haney has served the Native American
community as a business consultant, councilman, and planner/business
manager for the Seminole nation. Senator Haney has received
numerous awards for his leadership, artistry, and service
to the community from organizations representing education,
tribal governments, the military, arts, and business.
