Senator Harry E. Coates, Jr. currently serves Senate District #28 which is comprised of all or portions of Lincoln, Oklahoma, Pottawatomie and Seminole Counties.

Senator Coates was elected to the Oklahoma State Senate in November, 2002.

Senator Coates is a construction consultant by profession whose firm operates throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
